We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant, an experienced CPA with expertise in individual and business taxation. This position will require a high level of client interface and the opportunity for team leadership.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Holds a current license to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Washington
  • 4+ years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax
  • Is proficient in preparing and reviewing complex returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, and 1120), plus providing tax estimates, consulting, and tax planning
  • A high comfort level of communicating with clients in a competent, concise, timely, and personalized manner
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax regulations and changes to ensure compliance and accurate advice to clients.
  • Is proficient with QuickBooks (desktop and online), Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Commits to working full-time with required overtime during busy seasons
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and a strong bias for follow-through
  • Demonstrates confidence and familiarity in delegating to and following up with a team of bookkeepers, staff and senior accountants, and partners.
  • Is enthusiastic about working one-on-one with clients

Capabilities and experience in the following areas are a plus:

  • CCH Axcess and/or CCH ProFx Engagement (2+ years of full-time use)

Compensation:

Compensation range: $90,000-$140,000 base salary, compensation offer will be based on skills and qualifications.
