Jeff Oetgen, CPA, joined Telgenhoff and Oetgen in 2000 and became a shareholder in 2001.  In 2018 he reduced his role to associate.  Jeff has worked in accounting for over 40 years.  He finds that the success of a business involves many factors such as income tax compliance, banking relationships, business efficiency and understanding the individual goals of the business owner.  Jeff provides business consulting, prepares income tax returns and financial statements.

Jeff obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from California State College, San Bernardino in 1978 and went on to earn his CPA designation in 1981. He has worked for Deloitte, Haskins & Sells, Moss Adams, and was controller for a large natural resource company.

Jeff is a past member and treasurer of Mt. Baker Rotary Club where he served for over 15 years and the Lynden Performing Arts Guild for two years.

Jeff and his wife have three sons.  You may run into him on the trails as he enjoys mountain biking in his free time.
