Sarah began her career in public accounting in 2013 and joined Telgenhoff and Oetgen in 2026. She specializes in business and individual income taxation, along with payroll and excise tax compliance.

Sarah enjoys working closely with individuals and business owners and is passionate about helping small businesses establish and refine bookkeeping systems that provide clarity and insight into their financial position. She loves demystifying bookkeeping, payroll, and excise tax for business owners and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor and is known as the QuickBooks guru. There is no QuickBooks mess or question too big or too small.

A graduate of Lynden Christian High School, Sarah earned her accounting degree with a minor in business administration from Western Washington University. She lives in Ferndale with her husband and enjoys gardening, landscaping, camping, crafting, trivia nights, and solving puzzles in her free time.
